Senior move management is the management of all outlined services with a special commitment to older adults and retirees for whom the emotional stress and physical demand of moving are especially burdensome. The service can consists of:

• Downsizing
• Sorting/tagging furniture and items with a color code system (Blue - items going to new home, Green - items to be stored, and Purple - items to be donated/trashed).
• Floor/space planning
• Full pack/unpack/organize service

Internal moves is moving the customer from one apartment to another within the same community. This may include:

• Downsizing: This is the same process as full-service pack and unpack, with the exception of the way we pack. We “soft pack” the items being transported. The items will still be securely transported, clearly labeled, and unpacked in an organized manner and light dusting will be provided.

Model moves This consists of moving the furniture and contents of units that are staged for future residents to view. The entire contents of the unit will be packed, moved, and unpacked. Furniture will be lightly dusted before lamps/décor are placed back on/in them. We can re-hang the pictures, if the item being hung does not require anchoring. If it does require anchoring, we can put the work order in with community maintenance.

Full-service packing/unpacking is a true pack and unpack service. From China to personal items, the customer's belongings will be packed, clearly labeled, and unpacked in a sensible, organized manner that is familiar with the customer's previous home. We will also provide light dusting of the furniture being moved, before our team unpacks its contents. A walk-through will be done at the end of each job to get them comfortable with the placement of furniture and belongings in their new home. 

Downsize/declutter will have a lot of hand holding. A move manager will work with the customer one-on-one or through the direction of the family to sort through the entire contents of the home to determine what will fit sensibly and safely in the home. This is a room-by-room process in which each piece of furniture will be looked at and tagged to go to the new home, be donated, or be discarded. In case the family wants to hold an estate sale, we can refer them to a company.

Floor and space planning will provide a custom floor plan of the customer's new home to ensure the furniture will fit. This process consists of measuring the new space and the items they plan to take to their new home. The customer can let us know of their preferred layout in which we will try our best to accommodate with the allotted space, otherwise we can provide some sensible suggestions. (This is not interior decorating, but a logical placement of the furniture that coincides with the placement in the previous home.)
